A Fun, Busy 4th

We've been busy this last little while working on this little area behind our deck. I think it's now complete. Weeds... weeded, flowers .... planted, old weed barrier removed, shredded bark mulch... installed, different soaker hoses.... installed. Now all there is left to do is to stop and smell the flowers. I LOVE that part!! I'd still like to put a pergola over it.... maybe next year.

This is a fun little piece I found at a yard sale last weekend. It hangs on the side of our deck. There's something about it that I really, really like. Amazingly enough, Laurence really liked it too!
