Because we are selling our home here, we cannot leave anything in Colstrip. My sister Annella and her husband Tom have agreed to let us store our camper in their backyard. We watched the weather report carefully and decided that today was the day to take it to Lovell. You guessed it. Fresh snow this morning in Colstrip. Fortunately, Annella says there is none in Lovell.

ONE MORE ITEM CROSSED OFF THE PRE-MISSION CHECKLIST.....
RETIREMENT
My last shift at WECo working for Securitas Security.
It's been a great place to work and it's given me many opportunities to grow and learn as well as giving me plenty of time to work on my own projects.
Life is good!!
Onward and upward toward our mission.
The bottom half of this sign I printed out months ago and I would display it when I was on shift if I felt it was needed. Today I added the top part. It is in an acrylic frame with magnets on the back. Unfortunately there is no place in the office for magnets to stick so I left it leaning on the window sill.

THE MILES AHEAD......
Today is Christmas day..... a great day to relax. (I really should be packing and sorting). I decided I wanted to see just how we're going to be traveling to Halifax. I'm excited to get to see places I've never been.
It is 675 miles and 11 hours from Colstrip to Salt Lake.
It is 3059 miles and 47 hours 6 minutes. From Salt Lake to Halifax.
If all goes as planned, we will leave Salt Lake on February 26, headed for Nova Scotia. I get so excited and feel so blessed. I know it will be hard work, but we can do hard things.

The For Sale Sign is up
I know this is what our Father in Heaven wants us to do, some people would say that automatically would make it sell quickly. I know that sometimes we have to go through a test of our faith. I pray that this will not be one of those times.

Quinoa Happy Dance!!
When I was growing up my mom used to make baked macaroni and cheese. There was no cheese sauce. It was macaroni layered with cheddar cheese and then baked. This was my dad's favorite meal. Today I decided to make a quinoa version.
I simply cooked 1 cup of rinsed quinoa with about 1 3/4 cup chicken broth.
Then I layered the quinoa with shredded cheese.
On top I put a layer of cheddar cheese slices.
I then baked it for about 20 minutes to melt the cheese throughout the quinoa.
It was delicious!!
And it fit in with Laurence's allergies.
When I make it again I will stir the shredded cheese into the quinoa instead of layering it.
Quinoa is so dense that there is no place for the cheese to melt to like there is when you use macaroni.
