This guy showed up with a friend this week.
The two of them would never pose together for me.
He is a Black-Headed Grosbeak.
According to the books he is indigenous to this area, but I've not seen them around here before.
The book says that they are quite tame and sometimes will take food from your hand.
That would be fun!!
